This is an OUTDOOR event to be run off a
Regulation DOCK provided by FLOE in to a LAKE (go to
www.floeintl.com for more information on FLOE Docks)
This event will be open to all dog / handler teams who wish
to enter:
bitches in heat will not
be allowed to compete or in the competition area
dog / handler teams may enter only one or as many Waves
as they wish (a separate entry fee must be paid for each
wave)
dog / handler teams will be placed in groups of 15 teams
within each Wave, if necessary
each team will receive two official competition jumps
per Wave
each group will compete one at a time until all groups
have completed their jumps
all dogs will have the opportunity to acclimate to the
dock area prior to their first official competition jump
during the allotted practice time before each wave only
(see Event Schedule)
the dock will close to all practice jumping 45 minutes
prior to the start of each competition wave
the top 12 jumping entrants overall from Waves 1 thru
4 will meet in the Finals on Sunday afternoon

Event Registration
This DockDogs event is open to any dog / handler team who
wishes to enter. You may do this in one of two ways:
Fill out the online
North Shore Challenge Registration Form and submit it. You will
then be required to pay the registration fee and sign a
waiver when you check in at the Event
Register on-site one hour prior to the Wave(s) in which
you would like to compete
Pre-Registrants will be given PRIORITY within the
running order. Each Wave is limited in the number of
teams that will compete (see Event Schedule). On-site
registration will be available only as space permits.
Pre-Registration will close on Wednesday, May
17th 2004
If a Wave fills prior to the close of the Pre-Registration
period, a waiting list will be started for that Wave
Registration fee is $20, payable to DockDogs Northern
Stars (cash, check)
Registration fees will go toward the Cash Prize purse
to be awarded to the finalists (see Cash
Prize Breakdown for more information)
PLEASE NOTE: Handlers or handlers representatives
must be present to accept ribbons and awards. Ribbons
or awards will NOT be mailed.
