Earning Titles and Worldwide Rankings

Dogs can earn Titles at both the Regional and National Level. Teams who hold a valid World Membership and receive a qualifying Score in a Sanctioned DockDogs® Competition shall be ranked against all other World Membership Teams competing in DockDogs® Sanctioned events. Big Air
A National title is earned by accumulating (5) five legs within one division at a National Event and a Regional Title is earned by accumulating (5) five legs within one division at a Club Affiliate Sanctioned Event.

Extreme Vertical
A National Title is earned by accumulating (3) three legs within one division at a National Event and a Regional Title is earned by accumulating (3) three legs within one division at a Club Affiliate Sanctioned Event.

 Speed Retrieve
A National Title is earned by accumulating (3) three legs within one division at a National Event and a Regional Title is earned by accumulating (3) three legs within one division at a Club Affiliate Sanctioned Event. One leg can be earned during the wave and one leg can be earned during the Finals Round.

Regional Divisional Finals Format
Our Divisional Finals are designed to recognize the top performances within each Division during an event. We take the top 6 teams from each Division. There needs to be at least 3 teams to run a separate divisional final, otherwise they are just run with another division, yet scored separately. Teams are not taken from a lower division to fill a higher division.

Standings for Divisional Finals should be based on the highest National or Regional title earned or the highest score from that event, whichever is greater. (dockdogs® 2009 Rules and Policies Section10.05 f(ii).
